西洋料理、日本料理、中国料理、製菓、和菓子と多くの講座を修了した方(受講時は香港在住でした)のハワイの日本料理店「Izakaya Genbe」をご紹介します。

An Izakaya is a fun, lively, laid-back Japanese style pub. They are often compared to Irish pubs, Tapas bars and early American Saloons.
Unlike traditional American restaurants where food is the focus and dishes come out in courses, at an Izakaya food is often secondary to a good sake and a great conversation.
In Japan a popular Izakaya is a Who's Who of local business types and industry professionals who gather to enjoy a selection of beers and sake as they unwind after a hard days work. An Izakaya is often a favorite late night stop for Chefs and culinary masterminds as the broad selection of small plates and perfectly matched beverages really hit the spot after a long night in the kitchen.
Izakaya food is top notch! Traditional dishes are made entirely from scratch, the traditional way with the highest quality ingredients. Food does not arrive in courses. We do not wait for all dishes to be finished before serving. Instead service is somewhat sporadic with small plates arriving at your table, sometimes one at a time, as they are prepared by our cooks. This ensures that all dishes are delivered to your table at the peak of freshness.
At our Izakaya we want our guests to feel at home. You are free to put away your phone, sit back and relax. Let us pour you a glass of sake, order some delicious dishes and take your time as you enjoy a fun evening with friends and family. After all this is what an Izakaya is all about.
